Kan ni hjälpa?
Detta är överkurs för mig.
Efter uppdatering hände följande,
vid uppstart "fryser" skärmen precis innan den skall ladda Ubuntu 16.04.
Sedan står den still i ca 5 minuter.
Nu tror jag inte att den står still, något gör den ju.
Efter ca 5 minuter kommer den igång.
Vad gör den under tiden?
Jag har fått för mig att den försöker boota men startar på fel disk.
Då behöver den kanske söka hela disken innan den börjar leta på nästa?
Dessutom efter uppstart har den svårt att hitta usb-erna.
Det tar ytterligare några minuter innan allt det är laddat.
Detta är bara en teori som bygger på mitt eget sunda förnuft.
Tyvärr är det inte mycket värt när det gäller sådant här.
Jag har en liten hårddisk där ubuntu är installerat och en större på en gig.
Allt har fungerat tidigare, dock är det inte första gången jag fått detta fel.
Det brukar dock reparera sig efter ett par veckor, efter några uppdateringar.
Alla tips mottages med stor tacksamhet och låt inte min dåliga (?) teori leda er på villospår

Min teori fel.
Vet ej varför detta fel uppstått.
Har extern 2 gig hårddisk.
Den hittades överhuvudtaget inte.
Jag kopplade ur den vid uppstart.
Ubuntu startar som vanligt oc inga problem.
Jag kopplar in hårddisk-hittas.
Varför det blir så här vet jag inte, men det är ju en enkel lösning på ett gammalt
problem jag haft.

Alltså, låter som du har alldeles för lite utrymme. Inte för att jag tror det har nåt med saken att göra. Visst att linux tar avsevärt mindre plats, tror jag ubuntu är fel dist med så lite utrymme. Du borde satsa på nåt vädigt lättviktigt

Nja, disk *verkar* du ha - du har blandat ihop GB och TB, men du har alltså en 931GB stor disk, så du *borde* inte ha några problem med diskutrymme (såvida du inte har lyckats skapa väldigt många/stora filer som tar mycket plats). Men det borde kommandot

Som jag skrev i "svar" till mig själv dvs innan någon yttrat sig i tråden så fungerar allt normalt nu.
Den externa hårddisken skapade tydligen någon konflikt.
När den kopplades ur vid uppstart så var boottiden normal och alla usb laddades.
efter uppstart och anslutning hittas extern hårddisk direkt och allt är normalt. även vid omstart.
Tack salkcin för ditt intresse, ditt svar beror säkert på att jag skrev fel 2 gb istället för tb.
Ang. diskar
jag har en snabb (ssd? ellere vad heter det?) på 140 gig, tror jag
där är det tänkt att ubuntu skall ligga och boot skall ske därifrån, tror jag
sedan har jag en vanlig hårddisk på 1 tb och en extern på 2tb

Johanre... allt funkar, finns det något att gå vidare med?
